Eastlink Centre

The Eastlink Centre Charlottetown has been hosting epic events for over three decades. It’s fair to say we know how to make sure every event runs smoothly and every guest has a memorable experience. Our unique two-in-one venue space includes an NHL-sized ice surface and arena with 3717 fixed seats, and a 40,000 sq ft trade centre. Purpose-built to host the 1991 Canada Winter Games, we continue a tradition of hosting regional, national, and international sporting events. The Centre also plays host to a busy schedule of renowned entertainers, beloved festivals, and major trade shows throughout the year. Deeply rooted in our community, we look forward to warmly welcoming Islanders and visitors to PEI’s Premier Sports Entertainment Centre. “Our mission is to deliver memorable experiences that entertain, educate, and enrich.” Over the past 30 years, we’ve hosted countless events under our roof. As the Island’s premier sports entertainment centre, our legacy is really the legacy of our event partners and every guest that has ever walked through our doors. You made it happen, we were happy to be the host. The first musician to perform at the Eastlink Centre was George Thorogood. Since then, we’ve welcomed countless incredible musicians to our stage including The Tragically Hip, Bryan Adams, The Guess Who, Willie Nelson, The White Stripes, Johnny Reid, Heart, Shania Twain, and The Killers. The Centre has hosted many major sporting events, including the 1999 Scott Tournament of Hearts, 2003 Royal Bank Cup (Canadian Junior A Hockey League ), 2006 Telus Cup (national midget ‘AAA’ hockey championship , 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. In 2006, the live ceremony of the East Coast Music Awards hosted by the Trailer Park Boys took place at the Eastlink Centre. The Centre has played co-host to the ECMAs on two other occasions as well. Since 1990, the Eastlink Centre has played host to one of PEI’s most beloved events, Old Home Week. From 1993 to 1996, the Eastlink Centre was the home of the AHLs Prince Edward Island Senators. Bryan Adams played the largest indoor concert in PEI history (at the time) on Jan 5, 2000.
