A Escola Politécnica de Paris (em francês: École Polytechnique) é uma das mais antigas, célebres e prestigiosas escolas de engenharia da França. É conhecida popularmente como "l'X" (lê-se lix). Fundada em 1794, durante a Revolução Francesa, a escola que recebeu a princípio o nome l'École centrale des travaux publics, é um estabelecimento público de ensino e pesquisa que se encontra sob a tutela do Ministério de Defesa da França.
