Emily Robison (born August 16, 1972) is a country songwriter, recording artist and musician, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, raised in Texas and currently residing on a ranch outside of San Antonio. Emily plays guitar, dobro and banjo in the group. Emily and her sister, Martie Erwin, are founding members of the Dixie Chicks. The group has been performing since 1989.
