Eris O’Brien is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Eris started writing in the early 80’s. Since that time he has had a number of works covered by other Australian artists including: Ian Moss, Jimmy Barnes, Christine Anu, Paul Kelly and Ross Wilson. Seeing himself primarily as a songwriter, Eris, through his publisher, sought out others to perform his works.
