Our ultimate goal is an end to homelessness in Europe. Established in 1989, FEANTSA brings together non-profit services that support homeless people in Europe. We have nearly 140 member organisations from 26 countries, including 23 Member States. The General Assembly , which is composed of all full members and meets once a year; The Administrative Council , which is composed of one representative per country with a full member and meets three times a year; The Executive Committee , which is elected by the AC (maximum 7 members) and includes the President, two vice-presidents, Treasurer and Secretary. It also meets three times a year. The FEANTSA Secretariat is based in Brussels and includes a diverse team working to end homelessness across Europe.

FEANTSA also works closely with other EU institutions, and has consultative status at the Council of Europe and the United Nations.
It monitors the scope and nature of homelessness in Europe, and national and local homeless policy-making in Europe in the framework of the European Commission's strategy on social protection and social inclusion. The organization's website offers information on the measurement of homelessness, health and homelessness, employment and homelessness, housing rights and homelessness, among others.
