Francesco Pollini (Ljubljana, 1763 - Milan, 1846) was an Italian musician and composer. He studied in Vienna where he had Mozart among other masters. This one dedicated to him a rondo for violin. Back in Italy, he settled in Milan, where he enjoyed a certain fame and consideration in the music world of the beginning of the century. He began to teach composition at the Conservatory in Milan.
