Garaguso is a town and comune in the province of Matera, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata.

==Geography== Garaguso is an agricultural center in the upper valley of the Cavone River. The town is situated on a hill and is bordered to the north by the town of Grassano, to the east by Salandra, to the south by San Mauro Forte, and west with Oliveto Lucano and Calciano.
