Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. (ZGH), commonly known as Geely Holding ( ; ), is a Chinese multinational automotive conglomerate headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company was founded by, and is privately owned by Chinese entrepreneur Li Shufu.
Geely was founded in 1986 as a refrigerator parts company, before transitioning to motorcycles in 1994 and entering the automotive industry in 1997. ZGH as a holding company was founded in 2003. , the company ranks 225 in the 2023 Fortune Global 500 list of the world's largest companies. In 2025, the group produced a total of 4.1 million vehicles globally, including 2.3 million plug-in electric vehicles.
