Geoffrey II

Geoffrey II, Duke of Brittany, was a male aristocrat born on September 23, 1158, and died from accidental death on August 19, 1186, in Paris. He was a member of the House of Plantagenet and held the noble titles of duke and Earl of Richmond. His parents were Henry II of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine. He was married to Constance, duchess of Brittany, and they had two children: Eleanor, Fair Maid of Brittany, and Arthur I.

Geoffrey II was described by the Encyclopædia Britannica 11th edition and is buried at Notre-Dame de Paris. He was a Christian and held citizenship in the United Kingdom. His siblings included Eleanor of England, Joan of England, Matilda of England, Duchess of Saxony, and Alice of France.
