Giuseppe Persiani (11 September 1799, Recanati - 13 August 1869, Paris) was an Italian opera composer. His wife was the celebrated soprano Fanny Tacchinardi Persiani, however it was Maria Malibran who created the role of Ines de Castro in his most famous opera of the same name.
