Es uno de los bailarines de claqué más célebres de todos los tiempos. Como actor, es conocido por Wolfen (1981), The Cotton Club (1984), Noches de sol (1985), y Apunta, dispara... y corred (1986), (1997-1998), Ben en Will & Grace (1999-2000), y por dar voz a Big Bill en el programa de televisión infantil animado Nick Jr. de Pequeño Bill (1999-2004).

Gregory Hines (February 14, 1946 – August 9, 2003) was a Tony Award-winning American actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer. Born Gregory Oliver Hines in New York City, Hines and his older brother Maurice started dancing at an early age, studying with choreographer Henry LeTang.
