Грайндкор (ещё известен как «грайнд» англ. Grindcore) — экстремальное направление рок-музыки, первоначально возникшее в результате смешения краст-панка и трэшкора. Также определённую роль сыграло влияние со стороны дэт-метала. Название происходит от слова англ. grind — «молоть» (из-за звука, построенного на атональных риффах, «размалывающе», «со скрежетом» переходящих из одного в другой).
