Hořesedly () is a municipality and village in Rakovník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants.

==Etymology== The name consists of the words hoře ('above') and sedět ('to sit' in modern Czech, but in old Czech meaning 'to settle down'). The meaning of the name is "the village of people who settled above".
