James Jones was a dutch band formed by James Jones (Caspar Steinebach, 1984) and Jim Sheperd (Wim den Herder, 1982). By the beginning of the century Jim discovered James when he was performing with a band at a high school battle of the bands fesitval in Wassenaar. The talented multi-instrumentalist Jim Sheperd immediately saw potential in the raw funky singing style of James and asked him to sing in one of his Projects, called Project-X.
