Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Joel Basman had his first taste of acting participating in a youth theatre project at the city’s Schauspielhaus in 2003 and in graduation projects of students at the Drama Academy in Zurich in 2004 and 2005. He appeared in the successful Swiss TV series «Lüthi & Blanc» between 2004 and 2006. 2008-08 Joel has been studying at the European Film Actors School in Zurich. He also was the Swiss Shooting Star 2008.
