John Charles LeCompt is an American guitarist (born: March 10 1973). He was born in Little Rock. He was the guitarist and lead vocalist for the bands Mindrage and Kill System. John joined Evanescence as their guitarist after the recording of Fallen (co-wrote "Taking Over Me") in 2003. He co-wrote "All That I'm Living For" on the album The Open Door.
