Karen Lafferty was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She became one of the pioneers of the Jesus Movement during the '70's after accepting the Lord as her personal Savior at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. Karen is the author of the song "Seek Ye First" which became a well-known praise and worship song throughout the world.
