Kiltarlity has a village store and a post office, Brockie's Lodge (a former hotel, now bar), and a village hall. Close to the village are Lovat Castle, the historic seat of Clan Fraser of Lovat, and the Belladrum Estate, site of the rapidly-growing Tartan Heart Festival.
