Kussie

is a Japanese lake monster (a cryptid) said to be living in Hokkaidō's Lake Kussharo on the northern island of Hokkaido. The name "Kussie" is seemingly inspired by "Nessie," the nickname for the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland.
