==Species== Macropsobrycon contains the following valid species: Macropsobrycon uruguayanae C. H. Eigenmann, 1915 – Uruguay, Tramandaí and Lagoa dos Patos basins. Macropsobrycon xinguensis Géry, 1973 – Xingu River basin.
