Maetinga is a municipality located in the interior of the state state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil. It is located approximately 609 kilometers from the state capital, Salvador. According to data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), in 2024 its population was estimated at 7,212 inhabitants.
