Malloa (from Mapudungún mallohue, "place of the white clay") is a Chilean commune and town in Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region.

==Demographics== According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Malloa spans an area of and has 12,872 inhabitants (6,666 men and 6,206 women). Of these, 4,709 (36.6%) lived in urban areas and 8,163 (63.4%) in rural areas. The population grew by 5.1% (620 persons) between the 1992 and 2002 censuses.
