Mastodonsauridae

Mastodonsauridae is a family of capitosauroid temnospondyls. Fossils belonging to this family have been found in North America, Greenland, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The family Capitosauridae is synonymous with Mastodonsauridae.

Some genera, like Mastodonsaurus and Cyclotosaurus were specially large, reaching at least 4 meters or more. Other genera like Parotosuchus and Paracyclotosaurus only reached 2 meters or more in length, but it's still large compared to most modern-day amphibians.
