Le mathcore (ou hardcore chaotique) est un sous-genre de metalcore dissonant et de rythmique complexe. Il tient ses racines de groupes tels que Converge, Botch et The Dillinger Escape Plan. Le terme de mathcore est une déclinaison du math rock.
