Mitty was born June 21, 1941 in Alabama, US. She is likey most remembered as a one-hit wonder with 'I Had A Talk With My Man Last Night' which was originally a gospel tune and 'man' was substituted for 'God' turning it into a very different song. Her career began in the church with The Hayes Ensemble which travelled throughout the southern states.
