Mohelno is a market town in Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,400 inhabitants.

==Geography== Mohelno is located about southeast of Třebíč and southwest of Brno. It lies in the Jevišovice Uplands. The highest point is at above sea level. The market town is situated on the left bank of the Jihlava River, which forms the southern municipal border, and on the shore of the Mohelno Reservoir, built on the Jihlava.
