Naftali Bennett

Naftali Bennett is an Israeli-American politician and businessperson born in Haifa in 1972. A member of the Jewish people who practices Judaism, he holds citizenship in Israel and the United States. He speaks Hebrew and English and was educated at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws degree. His political career includes serving as a Knesset member, Minister of Defense, and Prime Minister of Israel. He has also held the position of party leader for The Jewish Home, New Right, Yamina, and Likud.

Bennett served in the Israel Defense Forces, specifically in the Sayeret Matkal and Maglan units, participating in the South Lebanon conflict, Operation Defensive Shield, and the 2006 Lebanon War. He resides in Ra'anana and has worked in Israel and New York City. He is recognized in the Time 100 collection and has four children.
