Nammo is an international aerospace and defense company headquartered in Raufoss, Norway. We are one of the world’s leading providers of specialty ammunition, shoulder-fired weapons and rocket motors. Nammo was formed in 1998 through a merger of the ammunition businesses in the three Nordic countries, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Today Nammo is owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and the Finnish Aerospace & Defense company Patria Oyj, each owning 50% of the shares in the company. Our product portfolio includes shoulder-launched munitions systems, ammunition for both military applications, as well as sports shooting and hunting, rocket motors for military and space applications, and environmentally friendly demilitarization services. Our company culture is built on three core values; Dedication , Precision and Care . These values guide our actions, foster teamwork, and ensure reliability in everything we do. Nammo’s journey began in 1998 through a merger of munitions factories in Norway, Sweden, and Finland when defense needs were low after the Cold War. The merger brought together hundreds of collective years of history, knowledge, and legacy from each of the factories. Nammo supplied defense products to Nordic countries and the export market to ensure financial viability and technological relevance for defense customers. As demand has grown, we have expanded our operations across Europe and the United States. Our progress is the result of collaboration between nations and cultures. The combined expertise and dedication of our teams continues as we work to secure a stable and prosperous future. Today, Nammo AS is an international aerospace and defense company headquartered in Raufoss, Norway. With highly dedicated employees in 12 countries across 27 production sites, Nammo is one of the world’s leading providers of specialty ammunition, shoulder-fired weapons, and rocket motors.
