Nebraska
Nebraska is the sixth studio album by the American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen, released on September 30, 1982, through Columbia Records. Springsteen recorded the songs unaccompanied on a four-track recorder in the bedroom of his home in Colts Neck, New Jersey. He had intended to rerecord the tracks with the E Street Band but decided to release them as they were, after deeming the full-band renditions to be unsatisfactory. The tape contained seventeen songs, of which ten were used for Nebraska; the others appeared in full-band renditions on the follow-up album Born in the U.S.A. (1984) or as B-sides.

Nebraska – szósty album Bruce’a Springsteena. Został nagrany w jego sypialni na 4-ścieżkowiec marki Tascam. Początkowo Nebraska miała być normalnym albumem nagranym z E-Street Band a wersja solowa miała służyć jedynie jako demo, ale ostatecznie zdecydowano się na jej wydanie. Elektryczne wersje utworów z tej płyty były grane podczas tras promujących ten i późniejsze albumy i można je znaleźć na bootlegach jako Electric Nebraska. Utwór tytułowy został zainspirowany przez Charlesa Starkweathera, nastoletniego mordercę, który zabił 11 osób w latach 1957-1958. W 2003 album został sklasyfikowany na 224. miejscu listy 500 albumów wszech czasów magazynu Rolling Stone.
