NGC 1633 is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation of Taurus. Its velocity with respect to the cosmic microwave background is 4,930±4 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 237.1 ± 16.6 Mly (72.71 ± 5.09 Mpc). However, three non-redshift measurements give a closer mean distance of 187.87 ± 5.23 Mly (57.600 ± 1.604 Mpc). It was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel on 9 December 1798.
