テレビアニメの新しい方向性を示すべく、2005年4月、フジテレビが”連ドラのようなアニメ”をコンセプトに設立した毎週木曜24:55からの深夜アニメ枠「ノイタミナ」。「ノイタミナ」とはアニメーションのスペル(Animation)を逆読みしたもので、「アニメの常識を覆したい」という想いから名付けられました。
