Oreobates is a genus of frogs in the family Strabomantidae. Most species were formerly in the genus Ischnocnema, but were moved to this revalidated genus following a 2006 revision. Its sister taxon is Lynchius.

Oreobates is een geslacht van kikkers uit de familie Craugastoridae. De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Jiménez de la Espada in 1872. Later werd de wetenschappelijke naam Teletrema gebruikt. Er zijn 23 soorten, inclusief de pas in 2014 beschreven soort Oreobates berdemenos. Alle soorten komen voor in Zuid-Amerika; in Argentinië, Bolivia, Brazilië, Ecuador en Peru.

Oreobates is a genus of frogs in the family Strabomantidae. Most species were formerly in the genus Ischnocnema, but were moved to this revalidated genus following a 2006 revision. Its sister taxon is Lynchius.

These frogs are found in the lower slopes of the Andes into the upper Amazon Basin from Colombia south to northern Argentina and east into western Brazil.
