==Etymology== The name is derived from the personal name Ostrovák and was written as Ozstrovachovic (Ostrovákovice) in the oldest documents. The Latin name Nigra ecclesia and the German name Schwarzkirchen first appeared in the 1330s and mean 'black church'.
