Paul (LINK) was born in Dublin, Ireland. He plays various 'saz' like baglama, abdal, bulgari, cogur & cura and also 'lyra' which is the traditional bowed instrument or spike fiddle of Crete. Since 2004 he has been living in Greece, mostly on the island of Crete, where he have been learning and performing with musicians mostly influenced by traditional Cretan music. He is also interested in other modal idioms such as Turkish, Balkan & Azerbaijani but have been influenced by many other traditions
