Pervomaisk (Ukrainian: Первомайськ, IPA: [perwoˈmɑjsʲk] ; Russian: Первомайск) is a city in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of Pervomaisk Raion within the oblast. It is located on the Southern Bug River which bisects the city. Pervomaisk also hosts the administration of Pervomaisk urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 62,426 (2022 estimate); 70,170 (2001).
The city is known for being a center (headquarters) of the 46th Rocket Division of the Soviet Strategic Rocket Forces during the Soviet period.
