قط بيكسى بوب

Pixie-bob is a pedigreed breed of domestic cat. Originally they were claimed to be related to bobcat hybrids, but DNA testing showed they are genetically fully domestic cats (Felis catus). However, they were selectively bred in the U.S. intended to resemble the North American bobcat (Lynx rufus). They are relatively large-sized polydactyl cats with a short tail, and have a black spotted tabby coat.

قط بيكسى بوب (بالإنجليزية: Pixie-bob)‏ نشأت هذه السلالة بعد محاولات لاستنباط نوع من القطط الأليفة، تشبه في تكوينها قط الوشق الوحشي Lynx rufus الذي يقطن أمريكا الشمالية . وقد أمكن إنتاج نوعين من هذه السلالة، أحدهما قصير الشعر والآخر طويل الشعر.
