It is inhabited by Turkmens of the Çavuşlu tribe. It consists of 6 neighbourhoods: Atatürk, Cumhuriyet, Şehit Ali, Sosyal Konutlar, Ekrem Çetin and Kaymakam Kürşat Ağca.
