Předboj is a municipality and village in Prague-East District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,400 inhabitants.

==Etymology== The initial name of the village was Přeboj. The Old Czech word přeboj meant 'robbery'. To make the name less unflattering and more understandable, it was changed to Předboj.
