== History == The earliest mention of Provodín dates back to 1376, when a local official named Nýček of Provodín was recorded in a municipal register from Bělá pod Bezdězem. In the Middle Ages, the village was part of the Jestřebí estate, controlled by the noble Berka of Dubá family. Ownership was later passed through several noble families, including the Smiřický and Vartenberk families.
