Ramón Grau San Martín ( Spanish: [raˈmoŋ ˈɡɾaw sam maɾˈtin]; 13 September 1881 – 28 July 1969) was a Cuban physician and politician who served as President of Cuba from 1933 to 1934 and from 1944 to 1948. He led the Cuban student movement in the 1933 Cuban Revolution that led to the overthrow of the Gerardo Machado regime.
He was the last president (other than Carlos Manuel Piedra who was interim president for one day) born during Spanish rule. He is sometimes called Raymond Grau San Martin in English.
