Rawson ist die Hauptstadt der Provinz Chubut im südlichen Argentinien. Die Stadt liegt am Ufer des Río Chubut nahe dessen Mündung in den Atlantischen Ozean unweit der Halbinsel Valdés und hat heute rund 27.000 Einwohner.
