Robert Kagan

Robert Kagan is an American political scientist, writer, and historian born in Athens in 1958. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and has been educated at Yale College, American University, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Kagan works in the field of international relations and has written for The Washington Post. He is affiliated with The Brookings Institution and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Kagan is a member of the Republican Party and is employed by Georgetown University. He is married to Victoria Nuland, and they have two children. His father is Donald Kagan, and his sibling is Frederick Kagan. Kagan speaks and writes in English.
