A Long time Bluesman of the New York City scene, Robert Ross played in blues, soul and bluesrock bands as a young man and cut his teeth playing with a mix of local artists and blues icons which included Brownie McGhee, Memphis Slim, JB Hutto and notibly John Lee Hooker,Lighening' Hopkins,Bones Malone and many others.
