Rungholt war eine Siedlung und ein Rechtsgebiet (Dingspil, von germanisch Thing und althochdeutsch spël „Rede“) in der nordfriesischen Küstenlandschaft Strand; ab dem 13. Jahrhundert auch ein Kirchspiel (altfriesisch kerspel). Sie wurde in der Zweiten Marcellusflut (Grote Mandränke) am 16. Januar 1362 oder einer der folgenden Sturmfluten zerstört.
