==History== thumb|Aerial view (1959) The earliest settlement in the municipality built the Neolithic burial mound at Zigiholz. The next known settlement was a Roman era villa with a portico and bath house from the 1st Century AD. villa with corner projections and bathing from the late 1st Century AD at Murimooshau. From around the same time, there is an Alemanni cemetery near the villa.
