== Location == Schipfe belongs to the historic area on the left hand shore of the Limmat, located on the west side of the Lindenhof-Sihlbühl hill downstream from the ancient bridges Münsterbrücke and Rathausbrücke, Zurich between the present Limmatquai and the prehistoric Lindenhof hill.
