Scindapsus is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. It is native to Southeast Asia, New Guinea, Queensland, and a few western Pacific islands. The species Scindapsus pictus is common in cultivation.

Scindapsus es un género de plantas con flores de la familia Araceae. Es endémica de Asia, pero también se puede encontrar en las islas del Pacífico. Scindapsus no es fácilmente distinguible de Epipremnum. La principal diferencia entre los dos géneros se encuentra en el número de semillas que producen. Las especies de Scindapsus tienen un óvulo en cada ovario mientras que las especies de Epipremnum tienen unos pocos. Las semillas de Scindapsus se redondean un poco en forma de riñón. Las plantas son principalmente enredaderas. Scindapsus is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. It is native to Southeast Asia, New Guinea, Queensland, and a few western Pacific islands. The species Scindapsus pictus is common in cultivation.
Scindapsus is not easily distinguishable from Epipremnum. The main difference between the two genera is in the number of seeds they produce. Scindapsus species have one ovule in each ovary whereas Epipremnum species have a few. The seeds of Scindapsus are rounded to slightly kidney-shaped. The plants are primarily root climbing vines.
