There are at least two artists with the name Shawn Elliott; 1) Shawn Elliot was a singer who re-introduced the song "Shame And Scandal In The Family" (originally popularized by Sir Lancelot in the late 1930's) during the early 1960's. Peter Tosh and the Wailers copied Elliot's arrangement in preparing their own respective covers of the song.
