Sid Abel, właśc. Sidney Gerald Abel (ur. 22 lutego 1918 w Melville, zm. 8 lutego 2000) – zawodowy kanadyjski hokeista grający na pozycji lewoskrzydłowego, później trener, który rozegrał w NHL 14 sezonów w klubach: Detroit Red Wings i Chicago Blackhawks. Karierę trenerską rozpoczął jeszcze zanim skończył karierę hokeisty, zostając grającym trenerem w klubie Chicago Blackhawks. Później trenował również Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues oraz . W latach 1962–1970 był menedżerem generalnym Red Wings. Od 1969 członek Hockey Hall of Fame. W całej swojej karierze trzykrotnie zdobył Puchar Stanleya, wszystkie w barwach Red Wings. Razem z Gordiem Howe’em i Tedem Lindsayem w zespole Red Wings tworzyli „Production Line”, jedną z najbardziej znanych formacji ofensywnych w historii hokeja na lodzie.
