Superformance traces its roots to 1994, when Jim Price established it in South Africa. HiTech Automotive being the factory and the very same state-of-the-art facility that still hand-builds every Superformance car legend today. In 2005, passionate car guy, racer, and entrepreneur Lance Stander purchased the company, and together with his wife, Deborah, and their three children, transformed it into the globally revered, family-run company of today. Superformance LLC has been distributing factory-built “rolling chassis” replicas and continuation race cars since 1994. With over 20 dealerships worldwide and a long-standing partnership with Hi-Tech Automotive, we’ve produced more than 6,500 cars globally. Known for meticulous detail, quality, and craftsmanship, Superformance is recognized as the leader in 1960s racing legends reproduction cars. Hi-Tech Automotive continue to build Superformance cars at its plant in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
